Fined for teaching hooligan a lesson
A GRANDAD whose house was pelted with stones by a schoolboy was NICKED and FINED after frogmarching him to his parents for a telling-off.
David Crompton, 62, grabbed the 11-year-old after his window was hit.
But the retired joiner was stunned when the boy’s angry parents reported HIM to cops.
The dad of three — who had never been in trouble — must pay £50 compensation and £215 costs after admitting assault at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court.
During the incident, David had accidentally pushed the lad’s face into the door handle at his family’s home in Darwen, Lancs, the court heard.
He said: “It’s ludicrous. In my day, the parents would have had a strong word with the child.”
The boy’s dad said: “My son was really intimidated. He was left with a bruise under his eye after this man lost his temper.”

The law is an ass. The magistrates should have taken into account the actions of this child and supported David Crompton. Its because the law and these idiotic magistrates seem to always take the side of the perpetrator rather than the victim that our society is as it is. If I had been the magistrate I would have had strong words with the kids parents for wasting the courts time and suggest that they take their kid in hand to instil in him what is right and what is wrong.
