The 65ft tall bronze artwork, called Verity, has been given to Ilfracombe by the controversial artist on a 20-year loan and will be put up in the coming weeks. Standing at taller than the Angel of the North, Hirst says this precious metal-clad statue represents a ‘modern allegory of truth and justice’.
