Ritchie worked at Cornerstone Childcare in Nampa about 20 miles outside of Boise and was also a kitchen staff substitute for the Nampa School District and at the Idaho Arts Charter School.
Prosecutors told Judge Brian Lee during a hearing on Wednesday that Ritchie told investigators he’s sexually abused 23 kids between the ages of five and 12.
He is also accused of abusing some members of his family.
Ritchie’s attorney, public defender Bill Schwartz, did not immediately return a phone call.
According to the Idohoan Statesman, Canyon County investigators are still fielding calls from people who are concerned their children may have had contact with Ritchie.
Kieran Donahue, chief criminal deputy at the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, said: ‘We’re still determining the validity of the allegations. I’m not disputing what victims have said, but the investigation is still ongoing. It’s presumed innocence until proven guilty.’
Investigators also found child porn on his home computer.

He faces life in prison.
