A Morgan County sheriff’s deputy responded about 10:55 p.m. Thursday, after dispatch received a call from a Woodson woman. The woman said her daughter was beating her up following a disagreement over a sandwich.
The woman told the deputy she was hit on the head and scratched on the legs, but injuries did not require medical assistance.
A deputy waited at the home for another family member to arrive and mediate the disagreement.
Morgan County Chief Deputy Mike Carmody said it was not clear what it was about the sandwich that started the altercation.
There were no arrests.
