Kid finds LEGO piece stuck up his nose after 3 years

Face facts. At the age of three we were all forcing hunks of LEGO up our noses. It’s a human reflex.

But few of us have the misfortune of struggling with sinus issues for a full three years as a result of that activity. Take a bow, Isaak Lasson, a six-year-old whose nasal hell is finally over after a doc spotted a LEGO wheel up his hooter.

The poor lad has been having difficulties sleeping, forced to do so with his mouth open, after doctors couldn’t work out what was wrong with him years ago, and ambitiously prescribed antibiotics.

But only now has another doctor finally spotted and removed the offending object.

“I put some spaghetti up there, but that was a long time ago,” Isaak told the doctor, trying to help the medical man’s diagnosis. But that wasn’t the issue. Not this time. Probably best to stop that too.

“We think he bent [the LEGO] in half — it’s pretty flexible — and that it opened up once it got into his sinuses,” Isaak’s father told reporters. Textbook nose tomfoolery, lad. Bravo.
