Edward Bogunovich was charged Friday with possession with intent to distribute more than 100 pounds of marijuana, cultivation of more than 30 plants of marijuana and possession of more than 12 ounces of marijuana.
Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey said Bogunovich was growing more than 400 marijuana plants in the back yard of his west Denver home, exceeding the number of plants he was allowed for medical cultivation.
The charges further allege that Bogunovich possessed tools and material indicative of distribution beyond personal and provider use.
Bogunovich has been released from the Denver Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
