It seems becoming a mother has not made Pink go soft.
For she gets revenge on a lover who spurns her in the video for Blow Me (One Last Kiss), which is her her first single since giving birth last year.
And the mid-tempo dance tune is sure to please the Pennsylvania native’s burgeoning legion of fans.
The video, which boasts an expletive drenched chorus, follows her adventures as an unnamed character, who is betrayed by the man she believes to be her love.
A sign of things to come when they are enjoying a romantic rendezvous in the park, only for him to ignore her when he receives a call on his mobile phone.
However, the feisty 32-year-old does not let this go unpunished, and she throws her glass of red wine in his face.
But worse is to come, for he humiliates her by proposing to her friend in the middle of a busy dance.
To make matters worse, she thinks she is the one being proposed to until he cruelly moves the ring from her finger to the girl standing alongside her.
But there is one last sting in the tail from the Just Like a Pill favourite, as she arranges for a love heart full of paint to fly over the wedding, which then pops and drenches everyone at the ceremony.
Blow Me (One Last Kiss) is the lead single from her forthcoming new album The Truth About Love.
She wrote it with hotshot producer Greg Kurstin, who has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Peaches and The Flaming Lips, winning an Ivor Novello for songwriting on Lily Allen’s The Fear.
Pink took a career hiatus to have daughter Willow, now one, with husband Carey Hart.
