The ultimate in sexual equality: Women take part in annual beard championships

Competitors took centre stage at the Belasco Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles yesterday with a fantastic array of facial hair for the second annual contest. With categories ranging from business beard to freestyle and Sideburns/Mutton Chops to goatee, there was something for all tastes. And not to be left out, ladies were urged to make their own themed creations in the ‘whiskerinas’ section.
