A Belleville man is accused of selling marijuana out of his rental home next door to a store on North Illinois Street.
Corey L. Billups, 42, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession with the intent to deliver cannabis, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Lt. Kurt Eversman said. His bail was set at $50,000.
The St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit and the Belleville Police Department and St. Clair County Sheriff’s Special Response team conducted a raid Sunday morning at Billups’ 516 N. Illinois St. residence, where they found scales, an undisclosed amount of cannabis and a small amount of cash, Eversman said.
